The Seed Share Project emerged from our desire to connect with our neighbors and the local ecosystem. After foraging seeds from communal spaces and our garden, my daughter and I dried, cleaned, and sorted them. We used our local Facebook Buy Nothing group to connect with neighbors and distribute the seeds throughout the neighborhood. Neighbors picked up their packaged seeds from our front steps and planted them at home. My hope is that this initiative fosters community and promotes stewardship within our area.
